Why people are looking
On 1 December 2025 WiseTech moved most CargoWise customers onto Value Packs: a per-shipment automation fee plus per-transaction charges for forwarding and customs entries. The sources below report increases of 20 to 50 percent for smaller forwarders. If your margin on a container is a few hundred dollars, a software bill that grows with every shipment eats straight into it. Asian FFS is priced on the number of users. The number of shipments doesn't change the bill.
That cost is half of why we built Asian FFS. The other half is size. CargoWise is a big system with a long list of features that a sea freight forwarder doesn't always need. We built a smaller application with the sea freight workflow, the documents and the accounts, and left out the modules most forwarders never open. The scope hasn't changed much since.

What Asian FFS doesn't cover
- Asian FFS is sea freight only. It doesn't handle air or road freight.
- It doesn't lodge customs declarations in several countries directly from the system. Australian lodgement is under development, and for the UAE it writes the manifest file.
- It doesn't offer one global company structure for groups with dozens of offices.
What a move involves
- We run a demo on one of your own recent consolidations, from booking to bank reconciliation.
- We import parties, items, tariffs, ports, vessels and open receivables and payables from your CargoWise exports. This is charged on Starter and Growth and included on Enterprise.
- We set up your branches, users, bank accounts and document templates with your logo.
- You run both systems in parallel on live consolidations, then switch over. Closed history stays available as a read-only archive.

Can we move our data from CargoWise to Asian FFS?
Parties, items, tariffs, ports, vessels and open receivables and payables are imported from exports of your current system as part of onboarding. Historical closed shipments are usually kept as a read-only archive. The import is charged on Starter and Growth, depending on your current system and data, and it is included on Enterprise.
What does Asian FFS not do that CargoWise does?
CargoWise handles air and road freight, customs lodgement outside Australia and the UAE, and a global multi-company structure. Asian FFS is sea freight only. Its ABF Integrated Cargo System and 1-Stop PRA integrations for Australia are under development, and the UAE is served by the Sharjah Customs manifest file.
